Welcome to Plantsbrook School
'Be The Best That You Can Be'
Message from the Headteacher.
As we end this most unusual of half terms, I wanted to thank all parents for supporting your children and us as a school in these difficult times. I know that it isn’t easy but the work that many of your children have produced at home is stunning and we are very proud of them. I would also like to pay tribute to the vast majority of our students who are observing the lockdown rules in a very responsible and mature way. I think this time is particularly difficult for teenagers who naturally want to socialise with their friends. The fact that they are sacrificing this for the sake of their family and wider community speaks volumes about their character. We are getting reports, however, that a small number are not observing the rules.
If necessary, please remind your children what is expected of them. They should not be meeting more than one friend at a time and that should be outside in the fresh air, at two metres distance. Meeting in groups of 3 or more is not allowed at the moment. If we are to open more widely after June 8th to Y10 and Y12 students, this behaviour would increase the risks for all of us in school. Thank you for your support and I hope that you enjoy the time together as a family.
Update: All lettings cancelled until further notice.
