Book collection notice

Following the announcement on the school website, I am pleased to inform you that we have made progress in collecting exercise books and resources for students across the whole school. Your child has at least one book/resource that is ready to be collected. Not all children have books that require collecting. You will only be contacted for the children for whom books have been collated. In order to ensure the safety of everyone, we are staggering the collection dates, e.g., Year 11 on Monday 25th January, Year 12/13 and Year 10 on Tuesday 26th, Year 9 on Wednesday 27th, and Year 7 and 8 on Thursday 28th January. Books can be collected from the main school entrance from 9 am – 2 pm on the allocated day. Between these times the school car park will be open for parents to park. We will endeavour to collate books per family. This will reduce the number of times you need to come into school. We will collate by the eldest child, so if you have a child in Year 11 and Year 7, you can collect both sets of books on Monday. There will be a queuing system along the pathway leading to the school entrance. I would like to politely remind you to follow the government guidelines on social distancing and wearing of face masks. If you have more than one child at the school or you wish for your child to collect the books, can I ask you to complete the short survey attached? Please complete the survey by 12 pm Friday 22nd January.
