PwC Sixth Form Conference
Thursday 20th February 10am-2.30pm
This conference is organised jointly by PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) and Aston University and is aimed at bright Year 12 and 13 students who are expected to achieve at least BBB grades at A-Level and who have a genuine interest in accountancy, finance and business. The conference is held at PwC offices in Birmingham City Centre and gives students the opportunity to learn about studying these subjects and how to put together a strong application, as well as gaining an insight into one of the most prestigious companies in the world. Spaces are limited.

Aston Progression Pathways Programme

Aston Progression Pathways (APP) is an 18-month programme that empowers eligible Year 12 students to achieve their goal of studying STEM, business or law courses at Aston University. Students on the scheme receive the following benefits:
- Residential summer school
- E-mentoring
- UCAS and personal statement support
- Study skills support
- A contextual offer
This sustained programme of activity aims to raise students’ aspirations, improve their motivation to progress onto higher education and provides them with the knowledge, skills and experiences that will enhance their UCAS application
