It’s time for new full-time undergraduate students to apply for student finance!
It’s quick and easy to apply online. You just need to follow these simple steps:
  1. Register online at: https://www.gov.uk/apply-online-for-student-finance. You need to create an account
  2. Fill in the application – you’ll need your passport, bank details and National Insurance number. You don’t need a confirmed place at university or college before you apply. You can apply using your first choice and can change your details later if you need to.
  3. Provide evidence – You’ll need to provide any evidence we ask for. If you don’t, it could delay your application.
It can take up to 6 weeks to process your application, so apply early to make sure you get your student finance in time for starting your course. It will take you around 30 minutes to complete your application.

Applicants need to give permission for their application to be visible to school after submission, by ticking a box in the ‘Pay and send’ section.

If you have not opted in, please update this in the ‘Your details’ section of Track, under ‘School data sharing’, as soon as possible, so that we can track the progress of your application and give you appropriate support during the decision making process.

Leadership Academy 2020

27 & 28 August, Wellington College, Berkshire, UK

Leadership Academy is a two day all expenses paid residential programme for students in their final year of A-level studies (or equivalent). Designed and delivered by global management consultancy firm McKinsey & Company, it is a chance to build a toolkit of practical leadership skills and to find out more about management consulting all in a community of like-minded peers.

Inspiring Minds is an excellent opportunity for students thinking about university to learn more about the options available to them. Students will have the opportunity to experience their chosen subject at undergraduate level through a range of taster lectures and workshops, receive university application guidance and take a tour of our outstanding campus with current students.

Furthermore, attending these events can make a valuable addition to any personal statement, helping students to stand out as part of the university application process.
