As part of an enrichment programme, we included Cambridge Pre-U, Global Perspectives short course as an option for students in 2019-20 in order to develop their cultural capital and to gain the skills required for A Level Study with the option of taking this to full course in the second year.

The closure of schools nationally during the Covid-19 pandemic had a significant impact on the learning taking place. The school continued to set lessons in accordance with the timetable and these were provided in a variety of ways such as online lessons, narrated PowerPoints, regular online marking and feedback discussions with students. Year 12 students returned to school in September 2020.
