In the 2021 to 2022 financial year, schools will receive the following funding for each child registered as eligible for free school meals at any point in the last 6 years (Ever 6 FSM) :

1. £955 for pupils in years 7 to 11

Schools will receive £2,300 for each Child in Care (CiC) defined in the Children Act 1989 as one who is in the Care of an English or Welsh Local Authority. Paid via Virtual Schools.

Schools will also receive £2,300 for Children who have ceased to be Looked After by a Local Authority in England or Wales by way of an Adoption Order, a Special Guardianship Order or a Child Arrangement Order

Changes have been made as to how we collect information for Free School Meals. You no longer have to complete paper work and bring in evidence but it is all done by simply registering online here. 
You only ever need to register once and then school will automatically be updated of eligibility or any changes. This information is data protected as per the terms shown on the website. If you are unable to access the system to register, we can do this for you, please provide the following details – National Insurance Number, Date of Birth and Parent Full Name to finance@plantsbrookschool.co.uk
