At Plantsbrook we strive to develop excellence for all, in an environment that supports life-long learning, wellbeing and educational success. We are fully committed to providing the best opportunities for our students to support their growth and future success and this has led us to the development of the Bridge Centre for pupils that would benefit from an opportunity to reset and refocus in a bespoke setting.
Plantsbrook’s Bridge Centre is an on-site Alternative and Additional Provision Unit intended to help pupils find their way back to classroom success. Placements are short-term and allocated strictly via school recommendation. We are proud to add the Bridge Centre to our repertoire of educational support, both for our own students and those that join us from other schools.
The smaller setting and bespoke curriculum offer is designed to bridge the gaps that develop through disrupted education journeys, with a focus on high quality teaching, tailored pastoral support and a PSHCE-centred curriculum.
Students attending the Bridge Centre will be valued members of the Plantsbrook family. They will be encouraged to ‘be the best that they can be’ and shown that educational success may not look the same for all students, but it is achievable by all.
